Shall we talk about how great Josh Ritter is for a bit?

He’s an extraordinary singer-songwriter from Idaho with a curly little nose and around 5 albums out to date.

The Huffington Post says:

“The son of two neuroscientists, he was on his way to follow in their footsteps when he discovered Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan’s “Girl from the North Country” in high school. “Hearing that record was like meeting the person you’re going to marry,” Josh says.”

This one, from 2006, was pretty hard to beat.

It was also quite arresting when he sang Girl in the War at a dinner for the Centre of American Progress in Washington. Have a look.
