This week has been an embarrassment of loveliness with all the new music that’s come my way, but I think the one I’m latest to the party for is Rhode Island’s The Low Anthem.
Here is a song I can’t stop listening to, steeped in Emmylou Harris open-heartedness.
And when you go, where the winds are strong
When you go where flowers bend
Please take along all the best of my luck and come back unchanged
To them ghosts in the train yard
All them ghosts in my drink
Your money’s no good here just write one about me
Sometimes they sing it in the park with birds.
